Illustration & Fine Arts
Hello, I am a freelance illustrator and fine artist based out of Saratoga Springs, NY. After studying graphic design and photography in community college I went on to study illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Illustration is my main focus but I am constantly inspired by the nature, landscapes, and architecture of upstate New York; which is where my landscapes and fine art come from. I work and experiment with many mediums and styles. Some are more traditional like pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, gouache, or acrylic paint, while other times I am working digitally, or a combination of both.
My range of artistic influences come from movements of old and modern day. I have always been fascinated with the work of art nouveau artists, pre-raphaelite painters, and early 20th century illustrators; which has combined with my appreciation for modern artists and illustrator working in fantasy, science fiction, and comic art. Through these influences I use techniques and ideas of the past and present to create a truly unique vision and style of artwork.
